Things are going well here. We have finished our first real week of school here. We had a great speaker (from Minneapolis!) that spoke about worship. It was really good. I am leaning so much and trying to understand how to listen to God's voice. The people around me are so beautiful. I am learning more about the city and the people here. Everything is so exciting. My days are very busy. Here is a typical day
6:30-9:00--get ready and eat breakfast, then have a required hour of individual devos
9-10 --community worship or intercession (often taking various forms
10-1 --lecture time on the topic for the week by the speaker
1-2:30 lunch and break time
2:30-4:30--band practice, Bible study, small groups, one on ones, depending on the day
4:30-6 --work duties, I am usually on housekeeping or various other things
6-7 dinner/break
7-9 Mon: IHOP, WED: local outreach, THU: Creative Worship TUE&FRI:free

So we are kept pretty busy, but it is all good things. The living situation is going well. We have all 6 girls here now in this room about 14' by 12' (we are triple bunked!). But everyone is very sweet and I think I have a lot to learn from them all. So far we are all getting along great.

Thank you everyone for all your prayers and other support. I miss you all!
(Jody I got your letter today and loved it!! Thank you so much. That picture is fantastic!)

I made it here!!!

Man, after 18 hours of traveling alone (followed by 14 hours of sleeping), I have finally made it here to Targu-Mures, Romania. It is a beautiful country. There are rolling green hills and little houses with red roofs all over. This city here is not too big, but it is busy. It is going to be great. Leaving home was really hard and traveling alone was something I don't ever want to do again, but I made it through. The school here starts on Monday and I have lots of time to explore things before then. There are 3 other DTS students. Two girls from Colorado, and one boy from Finland. The two girls were already here, so I have been getting to know them a little bit. It has been great and everyone has been very helpful and friendly so far. Things are going well. I will post some pictures soon. (I haven't taken any yet). Thank you all for your prayers regarding traveling here. :)

This is where I am going!! I am so excited to see what God is doing in another country and to be a part of it. It will be very hard and scary, but I am so excited. I can't wait until school is done so I can get going!
